Before connecting any cable, install the softwareincluded on the DVD.Follow the on screen instructions.After installing the software, return to this guide

2. Plug in the USB cable

Do not connect the laser projector yet.Connect the FB3S device to the computer withthe included USB cable.The LED on the FB3QS will glow green.

3. Install the Flashback 3 drivers

When the“New Hardware” wizard appears,youshould not use the automatic install procedure.Instead, you should point the wizard to the“Drivers” directory on the installation DVD.

Windows 7 users may need to go to the DeviceManager, select the“Flashback3”and click on“Update Driver”, while pointing it to the DVD.

4. Initialize QuickShow software

Navigate to: Start > All Programs > Lasershow Designer QuickShow

5. Agree to the license terms

Read and understand the terms of use for thissoftware.

You must agree to these terms in order to beallowed to use the software.
Click the“l agree" button to proceed.

6. Initial configuration

This initial configuration will setup your userexperience, set your projector's scan rate andthe number of colors in your projector.

Follow the instructions on screen.

7. Plug in your laser projector

A standard DB-25 computer cable can be used toconnect the Flashback 3 to the ILDA input connector on your laser projector. Some projectors mayneed to be set for ILDA input.

Turn on the laser projector.

8. Play

Select a cue and click the “Enable Laser Output'button to have it displayed on your projector.
